The Battle Continues

Okay, so for those that have been following along, or have at least been made aware, the newest info is as follows. The appeal could not be filed. It would have cost me nearly 8,000 dollars, with only 30 days to pay that to the powers that be. So I have waited and waited to be able to find some other way to get my boy back home. Well his father, finally gave me a legal reason to do so. He moved, without notice, without warning, without providing me with the new address, until after they had already moved in!!!! So, I have filed a Motion to Modify, managed to get a new GAL, and have a tentative trial date set for December 17th, 2010. Now the down side to this is that there is a 4 day trial scheduled that week and if they need more time to finish, then the next available court date is March 8, 2011. However, the good news is that the new GAL actually seems to know her job, and is more than willing to consider sending my son back home to me where he belongs. So I just have to put on my A game for the trial and hope I convince SOMEONE who has the power to fix this to do just that. Anyway, I will write again when I know something. Thanks for listening.
